What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring timely and accurate posting to client accounts.
  • Monitoring accounts receivable, following up on outstanding invoices, and proactively resolving payment discrepancies.
  • Assisting in the daily reconciliation of bank statements and payment reports.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities related to AR and payments.
  • Coordinating with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Finance) to ensure a smooth billing and collection process.
  • Preparing regular AR reports and ad hoc analyses for management.
  • Contributing to process improvements and helping implement best practices in payment and receivables workflows.
  • Providing excellent support to clients regarding payment-related queries and maintaining strong and professional relationships.
  • Assisting in processing outgoing payments to vendors (e.g., licenses, software, cloud services).
  • Monitoring and tracking company expenses ( rent, utilities, business travel, etc.), together with other operating expenses (equipment, office supplies, etc.).
  • Working closely with the finance team to keep both revenue and cost sides of the business transparent.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role focused on accounts receivable and payments.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and AR processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.
  • Proactive mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience in fintech or an international company (nice to have, but not required).

The gross salary range for the Finance Specialist position is between €2500 and €3500 monthly, depending on your experience.
